Brian Miller is a writer, publisher and photographer, born in Dunedin, New Zealand.
In 1971, after completing a B.Sc in geology from Otago University, he spent a year prospecting in the highlands of Papua New Guinea, followed by several years lecturing high school science trainees in Goroka and then organising the production of the Education Department’s publications in Port Moresby. Brian produced a photographic pictorial, ‘The Highlands of Papua New Guinea,’ in 1983.
Brian returned to New Zealand in 1984 and spent over 20 years running his own business, Tapui Children’s Books which was based in Dunedin, but involved travelling around the South Island, selling to school libraries. In 2007 the bookshop was sold and he and his wife, Diane, have since written and published several books under the name Lifelogs Ltd.
Brian wrote ‘Digital Cameras the Easy Way’ in 2008 and teaches digital photography classes. Brian is Ralph Miller’s son.
